CT Church Houston

Large scale project involved various directional signs that were custom designed and printed by SignWay as well as various areas of custom lettering and graphics on PVC, aluminum, MaxMetal and vinyl. This church made finding anything super easy for their church-goers.

Dominion Church

The Children’s Ministry classroom and surrounding areas got a complete face-lift with bursts of colorful signs and wall art displays. Next up will be the sanctuary and throughout the church as they are undergoing construction.

Mercy Gate Church of Mont Belvieu

A complete exterior and interior signage package with literally miles of dimensional lettering and more. Mercy Gate Church needed directional signage to make navigation throughout their church easy as well as door signs, custom print and cut graphics, extensive frosted vinyl for interior doors and glass walls for privacy and dimensional lettering and more so this was a total makeover of signs.

Applying frosted vinyl to interior doors

Once the transfer tape is position and adhered to the surface, the vinyl's adhesive backing takes over, allowing for clean removal of the transfer.

The same frosted vinyl and install technique is used throughout the campus for the numerous offices, conference rooms and doors.

Often used for privacy, the church wanted their frosted vinyl to serve as a decorative decal instead.

Oasis Church

Oasis Church wanted an update to their church lobby with a message that resonates with the vision of their church and also speaks to the congregation. They emailed us some ideas for their ‘Core Values’ lobby display, and then allowed us to embellish it and give it our special touch. Check out the sleek design work and how we layered the different types of lettering and material for a finished project.

Oasis Church gave us a basic idea and then let us run with it. They were really happy with the results.

PVC layered atop printed 1/2 inch Gatorboard and a thinner, printed and routed panel of Gator. Metal standoffs elevate the large disc above the base.

The addition of aluminum standoffs to the top disc really sets off this piece.

Here, a test fitting in the shop ensures we don't run into any surprises once on-site.

The final touch: half-inch white PVC lettering for the center of the disc...

Mounting holes and bolt ports are aligned and measured one final time before installation.

All the preparation and pre-fab of the display parts and panels made for a swift and straightforward installation.

Showing how the standoffs work when installed on the wall. The panels 'float' just far enough to give it more dimension, yet stays close enough to the wall to avoid snagging passersby.

Dimensional lettering cut from Gatorboard are extremely lightweight yet sturdy.

Dimensional lettering is tested for fit and finish atop a pen plotted paper template.

Layouts are often photographed with rulers to note size and scale.

South Shore Harbour Subdivision

We’ve had a long working relationship with this neighborhood, South Shore Harbour, so when the time came to replace their entrance signage, they knew exactly who to call. The previous signage was from the mid-80s, and reflected the design aesthetics from that era. Our job was to remove the existing signs, and update them with a modern, yet classy, replacement, and we did just that. Check out the transformation. Remember that the entrance to your neighborhood, community, or even business can make a huge difference. Be sure your signage speaks to the classy nature of your business or community.

Printing the letters on MaxMetal

Once cut, the letters are affixed with screw-bolts to the back for mounting.

The mounting bolts also act as a standoff, to give the sign a more dimensional appearance.

Weather-treated wood frames were built to mount the finished signs onto the brick entrance walls on the left...

Directional Signage
